Indiana family photographer

TTP Studio recently had the pleasure of photographing several family fall photo sessions. The fall colors are a bit muted this year due to lack of rain, but were still very pretty.

The Bagley family is one of adventure. Such a beautiful family. I really enjoyed their enthusiasm. Their session is one of my favorites to date. I think it's mostly due to all the effort Athena put into their coordination. They matched perfectly. Their outfits were adorable.

The Haines family is one of tons of fun. They are the perfect blend. We chose a fall evening on the river greenway for their session, and I love the outcome. I enjoyed watching the kids play as we photographed the rest of the family.

The Hindenlang family recently grew as they adopted two of their nieces. What a beautiful choice to make. The kids are just transitioning but seem to be handling it well. Best of luck, Rick and Chloie. Although I love your Oliver picture, I must admit my heart stays true to green, so the JD photos were right up my alley.

Miss Mariah's sweet 16 session is also a fave of mine. She's one brave young lady! Climbed fences and walked on an old beat up bridge, but the results were worth the loss of her flip flop.

Indiana Infant Photographer

Infant photography is so challenging, yet so fun and rewarding. This week, I had the pleasure of photographing six month old Sophia. She's a beautiful little girl, so full of expressions. She smiles at the sight of a camera! How great is that?

Sophia made my job easy. Her results are fantastic! She has been my favorite session to date....but I'm looking forward to topping it in the near future.

TTP is gearing up for an engagement session this week as well as a family session. We are close to being in full swing & are hoping to buy the camera of my dreams soon, along with an L series lens! So, If you think our work is amazing now...just you wait & see!

Josie, Jess & Janell : Part One

Yesterday, I did a fun shoot of two sisters, Josie & Janell. Their other sister, Jess, will be joining us for a later shoot since she lives some distance away.

We began with Josie in our rural Decatur yard. We have wild white flowers growing everywhere so I decided to take advantage of them. They turned out great! I had to remind Josie to smile big as her natural smile can be mistaken for somewhat of a straight face. Josie, age 18, never had senior pictures done...so now she does! Janell also took her turn with the wild flowers.

We headed for a local business a few 100 yards down the road. On the way there, my sister Amy slid in the mud & fell! Thankfully, she was okay & laughed about it later. We found some nice scenery & had some fun. The girls got kind of playful, which is evident in some of the shots.

I picked up a beautiful pink shirt for the girls last weekend, which Janell wore for a few shots with her dog, Chloey who does wonderful with having her picture taken...but only when she wants to, huh, Josie? lol... Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Janell's husband & my husband are cousins.

I can't wait to add their sister Jess in a future session. These sisters sure know how to have fun.

Starting Them Out Young...

On Saturday, my hubby and I went out to celebrate our 9 month wedding anniversary. We took a trip to Texas Roadhouse. It was a crazy weekend in the Fort, as it was The Vera Bradley Outlet Show. It just so happened that we came at the perfect time. VB & TRH teamed together & were selling Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirts. I had to get one! My former boss is a breast cancer survivor & I've lost two aunts to it. So now, I can wear pink for Cora and breast cancer!

My five year old son, Grayson, & I sat bored today. "Hmm...What should we do?" I told him I needed profile pictures for my blog, but we'd have to wait for his brothers to get home. "No, no. Let me try!, " Grayson shouted .Upstairs I went to change. I quickly grabbed my new shirt. Then, I reluctantly handed him my camera as he sat on a small 2 step ladder. I think he did a good job, You be the judge.

Announcing....Mr & Mrs Rosston Becker!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing my friend's Sara's wedding in Defiance, OH. When I arrived at 11:00 am, she was a bit nervous with pre-wedding gitters...as we all are.

Sara are Ross began dating in early April of this year. They were engaged shortly after and were married within one week of their engagement. It came as a surprise to many, as Sara doesn't normally make quick decisions. Her reply..." He's such a wonderful guy...And when you know, you know."

Her nervousness was obvious when the clock struck 1:30, and the wedding party hadn't arrived, including the groom! Ross was waiting on his roommates, and showed up within a few minutes. We played the waiting game as the court prepared the papers. Their love is evident in the preceremony pictures. They exchanged a few quick kisses, and last minute advice.

It was a short and simple, but beautiful ceremony, just the way Ross and Sara had planned. Congrats, Ross & Sara on your wedding! May your love shine as bright as it did today for many years to come. Congrats, Alex on your family being complete.
So glad I could be part of your special day. I love you guys!

My new hairdo...

Last night, I made the mistake of coloring my own hair from a box. Well, It didn't turn out so good. So, I called my friend/cousin Janell to save me. We added blond highlights to it and it looks good now! I love it. Thanks, Janell!

We enjoyed dinner and then a campfire. When we got cold, we came inside and had a mini photo session. I taught Janell how to use my camera and she fell in love. Here's a few of her shots. Not bad for an amateur! lol

Tonight I had the pleasure of photographing an old family friend. Shaun turns 21 this month! Happy 21st, Shaun! But he will be serving our country as he will be in training for the National Guard. He leaves for two weeks beginning this Friday.

Shaun & I played catch up during our shoot. He's a great "kid" and is always fun to be around. Our shoot took place downtown Decatur in alley. I just love the architecture and the brick buildings.
